Testimonies / Recommendations
It was awesome to be a part of the community aspect of ACM. Whether it was a class discussion, a casual lunchtime conversation or a fiercely competitive table tennis match, there was always opportunity for meaningful interaction and lots of laughs.
One of the biggest blessings I gained from ACM was the training in how to observe the Biblical text better and how to mine the riches of Scripture for myself, rather than be spoon fed someone else's interpretation. I appreciated the emphasis of the lecturers on teaching us how to think rather than always what to think.
The atmosphere at college was always a brilliant one, with a real sense of community between lecturers and students. I loved the common desire to encourage and build up each other, even when our theological convictions were not the same.
ACM has given me a new love for reading and doing assignments that I didn't have in the past, because now I know every assignment is not done for a grade but to help me grow in my walk with the Lord.
I always thought that Bible college wouldn't be for a guy like me, not too intellectual, but the more I'm here the more I realise it's not about me or my capabilities or incapabilities... it's about God, and getting to know him.
Having a passion for women's ministry, I was attracted to ACM to study this course stream.
ACM is not about getting 30 new Facebook friends, instead it's about getting 30 new brothers and sisters to support and be supported in fellowship and growth in Christ.
My favourite part about the ACM journey, is that supportive community of God-centered people that surrounds me and encourages me like a family.
